  1. No I think its kind of weird and I would never do that. Birds don't carry their babies at all,  this is why you see so many of them fall out of the nest in the spring time.

  2. no, their mothers don't carry them that way, but i don't think that it hurts them. If you watch them climb around you will see that they do hang from their beaks as they transition from branch to branch or moving up or down before they can find a foot hold.

  3. I vote no, although I don't have any evidence as to why. Birds use their beaks as a hand in a lot of cases, but they use them for balance, more so than as an actual appendage. You'd be better off trying to teach it to step up, anyway.

  4. no.

would u like to be carried by ur balls?.

  5. Mother birds don't carry the young.  But it does not hurt the bird if you end up picking him up this way.  Sometimes my blue and gold wants to be picked up like this.  They have extremely strong beaks and use them for everything from breaking open very hard shelled foods to hanging on a branch.  I do agree, that you should be teaching your bird to step up on your hand or arm.  Continuing this is possible to create other problems in the future.  Especially if you try to train her to be carried other ways.  Please read my profile.

  6. do not do it
