Cars that don't run on gas?

I've heard many stories about cars running on all sorts of stuff. Even (believe it or not) wine. What types of cars are these?

Turbine engines will run on almost any combustible fuel source (like our M1 Abrams tank -- it'll run on gas, kerosene, jet fuel, booze, lighter fluid and rubbing alcohol -- and it only costs $2.5 million dollars!)
