Carsten Jancker reveals his memories from the past- Germany News
Carsten Jancker, a former Bayern Munich star, recently claimed of having an outstanding time in Germany during his playing days. He also admitted of difficulties he had with Udinese while playing in Italy for two seasons.
Carsten regarded his time with Bayern as the ‘most memorable’, where he achieved success during his six-year stint. The player went on to win four Bundesliga and one Champions League crown during his Munich days. Jancker also got hold of four DFP Liga-Pokal
and two DFB-Pokal titles during that time.
When asked about his playing days, both at Bayern and Udinese, the former striker also enthused,
“This is clear. It was of course at FC Bayern and Rapid Wien. At Bayern I became a national team player and won many titles. Also, two of my children were born there. Now of course I have another place to live. I still play for the Bayern All-Stars [a team
of retired Bayern players]. It all started at Rapid. There I became a successful professional footballer, and I work there today.”

While talking to Goal.com, the 37-year-old further added, “It was very difficult and not a good time for me. At first I did not play well and then everything went wrong.”
Carsten also represented the likes of FC Koln, Rapid Wien, FC Kaiserslautern, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 during his four-year career, bagging 10 goals in return.
Jancker has recently taken up a new role and currently is the head coach of Rapid Wien’s U15 side. The former player is now considering a permanent stay in coaching.
He concluded his remarks by rating Bayern as favourites to win the Bundesliga this season but advised them to work a lot harder in order to land the Champions League crown.
