Carter III it's a great album don't you agree?

With opening day sales figures of approximately 423,000, the album sold 1,005,545 units in its first week in the United States. But this is not what the album it's all about. Try the bonus tracks, "DonGetIt", "Prostitute 2" an other, not the commercial ones.

my man!.. no! the album was alright.. just cause its lil wayne and a lot of ignorant people say he is the best  does not mean He is and does not mean his album is a classic or eve  good album.... Wayne needs to cut the garbage with the voice box.... he is way way way too commercial.. all his fan base is between the ages of 13 years old and i would say 21 or 22 years old.. my little brother is 8 years old and he likes him... Lil wayne, simply because of his style will NEVER NEVER ever have a classic album.

Lil Wayne is part of a radical movement that is set out to destroy hip-hap/ rap.

Not really, but he is one of the many "rappers" that is ruining the genre.

The mainstream c**p they call rap makes me sick.

The only reason why this record or any of Lil Waynes records sale so many copies is because of the fact that 90% of Americans are too lazy and too stupid to discover REAL music. And instead swallow what the mainstream media feeds them.

Lil Wayne is no rapper! He doesn't even write his own music!

Good not Great! To be great.. u have to be in the likes of RUN DMC, RAKIM, N.W.A, BIGGIE, NAS, KOOL G. Rap, WU-Tang, KRS, LL .....(u get my drift, dont'cha!)

Album sales don't make u great ( it makes u money, but not great!) Lyrical content, production, delivery, beats, longevity, alot of criteria to be great... if he stays around long enough he may go down like that!

The Carter 3 is most definitely not a 5 star album, and this is coming from a Wayne fan. He dropped the ball on way too many tracks for it to even be close to a five star album(A Mille, Got Money, Lollipop, La La are all absolute garbage). While there were a large share of great tracks(3 Peat, Mr. Carter, Comfortable, Tie My Hands, Let The Beat Build, Playing With Fire, You Aint Got Nuthin), they dont completley offset the really bad tracks. I would say its 3.5/5 at best, a good album but not great.

it's okay. Don't get me wrong Wayne is the my fav. buttttt i have to say that it was a MAJOR disappointment to me. Let the beat build is the best song on there. Comfortable is OKAY but it just sound's weird and the bass or something is messed up.. I still love weezy though.. i'm a terrible singer and if i made a song and put him on it..i'd be a billionaire and people would love it..just because he's in it...

I don't think Lil Wayne is a great MC yeah he has a couple good songs but lyrics and flows are just horrid. Personally i think Bizzy Bone would take out lil wayne bizzy bone has good lyrics and great flows.

Yeah Carter III is his BEST album. Actually when someone broke into my sisters car they took her iPod and Her Carter III CD. She has Usher's Here I Stand and about 10 other albums in here car and they only took Carter III.
