Cartilage Ear Piercing Infection?

Question

I got my ear cartilage pierced about 5 days ago and things were going great until today and my ear started to burn and sometimes I feel like my ear is on fire and it is red and a little swolen. I love the piercing and do not want to go through that whole piercing it again thing because it hurt :( Is it infected or just irritated and should I go ahead and take it out or should I wait it out and keep cleaning it and hope it goes away?

It is infected, and you should have direction on what to do if you had it pierced by a Doctor. At least there should be  instructions available to you. You you will need to clean it with alcohol and keep turning the post . Call the place that pierced it and get more details

i just got mine done like a month ago and it hurt really bad for awhile and to be honest it still kinda does, its normal for it to be like that it shouldntbe infected just clean it everyday, if it gets worse just go to a piercing place and ask them what you should do.
