Cartilage Piercing....Did It Hurt?

Question

So I'm thinking about getting my cartilage pierced on the upper part of my ear and I would like to know if those who have had it done thought it was painful and what they would rate the pain 1-10. 1 Being barely felt it and 10 meaning excruciating. And it would also be cool to have tips on it and stuff like that. Thanks :)

i had mine done today with a needle and all i felt was a small pinch and then it was all over.

But was also wondering if it was normal for it to hurt a few hours after getting it done?

4 but it only hurts for like 5 min

I have two different cartilage piercings one being a helix on my right and an industrial on the left. The one you are getting is a helix now the pain is all based on how your pain tolerence is. For me my helix was about a 3 but my industrial was a 7.

Seriously it hardly hurt, probably about a 3, even less? It's a bit uncomfortable when I bump it and sometimes when I clean it but it's completelyyy fine otherwise. And a tip, try not to touch it haha coz I have  trouble leaving it alone and I'm scared mine's gonna get infected D:

I got mine done yesterday. It was like a 2, I barely felt it. Sleeping or leaning on it did hurt however, and it's sore when I clean it. Other than that, no complaints so far!

On a scale of 1-10 piercing it was about a 5 maybe 6. It wasn't bad. It doesn make a loud pop noise though. The noise makes you hurl. But it is just sore and you shouldnt mess with it afterwards or change the earring for a while.
