  1. i like them. it doesn't really hurt...but i've had alot of piercings done. only don't get it done with a gun b/c it can shatter your cartilage and that hurts it happened to me.

  2. I have the cartilidge at the top on both of my ears pierced, and I did it myself which is dumb as h**l, but anyway, yeah, it hurt pretty bad, but my nostrils hurt WAY more when I had them done. In terms of later pain associated with the d**n earrings, they hurt a lot now because of the way I sleep on them, and this is over two years later. I guess it depends on WHERE you are getting them pierced.

  3. I've had my left ear pierced twice in the cartilage. I got it done at a professional piercing place, which I'd definitely recommend over a ear piercing place. They pierce it with a hollow needle, so that the skin is removed and it has less of a chance of being infected than if a piercing gun is used. After they pierce it, they put in the jewelry. Anyway, it does hurt but it's not horrible. The first time it bled all down my ear, which was weird but not that painful. I got a ring in it. (I took it out for sports and it closed up, which is why I re-pierced it). If you've ever donated blood, it's a similar amount of pain. I like them; do it! :)
