Cartilage after care???

I am planning on getting my cartilage pierced and i was wondering if there is any way to speed up the healing process

i think 4-12 months would definitely put a damper on my daily life.

pleas help!!!

  1. Ok, they tell you 4-12 months because it can take that long, but that doesnt mean that it will. I have many cartilage piercings and at most i would say 4 months. It generally stops hurting way before then. If you hit it or play with it alot at can still get infected because its not totally healed yet. the best way for it to heal is to just not play with it and clean it twice a day with saline solution (contact leanse cleaner)  and Do not use hydrogen peroxide or polysporin or anything like that. All that does is irriate it
