Cartilage piercing at what age!?!?

im 14 and i am really thnking about getting a cartilage piercing.

my mom and dad dont want to me get 1 they think im to young :S

how old when u got it done (if u did)

im jus curious

cuz i just dont know how to convince them!

Don't listen to "taken"; don't let your friend do it. Since you're only 14 your friends are both inexperienced, and more prone to accidents.

I was 13 when I got my cartilage pierced, and my friends followed suit not far after. Try showing your parents that you're responsible, and that you know how to take care of it and definitely how much you want it.

If they don't come around for that, then try buying a fake small hoop earring and put it where you'd want to get your cartilage pierced; and show them how good it looks.

I had to wait a long time to get my lip pierced, but it was well worth it. And your situation isn't that different. Just do what I did and make them feel like you're more mature than you might actually be.

i got my cartilage pierced when i was 13 @ claires but i had to have my mom's signature. i really like it :)

I was 15, but I let it close up because my boyfriend didn't like it. My parents never cared about me getting my ears pierced though. You can always try having your friend pierce it, but I'd be hesitant about doing it to your cartilage because that one is easily infected. My best friend pierced my second and third holes for me though and those turned out fine.

I wanted to get mine pierced when I was 15, but my parents wouldn't let me. They told me to wait until I was 18. And I did. And it was actually a lot more fun to march down to the tattoo parlor w/ my friends and get it done w/ out my parents(on my 18th b-day :) ) than it ever was to do it w/ my mom along.

please don't do it yourself.  It's really dangerous to not have it done professionally.

you can get your cartlidge pierced at like cliares and icing at 13 with parental guradian, which means your older sister or brother can do it for you as you long as their older than 21, but when it comes to actually piercing it i think you have to be 16 to 18. but dont pierce it yourself, its too dangerous
