  1. A little lump will always be there. IDK why but it will. I did mines also and there was a little lump after. & sometimes it may get bigger but dont worry its not that noticable and all you have to do is when it gets like that clean it and the ear ring and just keep it dry. Clean it at least 2 times a day. It's work promise you.

  2. You may have what is known as a sebaseous cyst. It is when an oil gland is clogged and creates a sack of cheese like secretions, kind of like a pimple. It may drain on it's own or it may require a doctors attention if it bothers you. You could also have a large scar, cartilage is not very vascular and does not have a good blood supply so it tends to scar and not be remodeled into soft tissue. You may also have what is known as a keloid or hypertrophic scar. This is when the body's healing process goes into overdrive and creates a large scar. At any rate, if it is the last two, it won't go away.

  3. It could be a blood blister growing under the skin, unless its already healed it could be built up cartilage. Go back to who did you piercing and have them look at it, if it is a blister or puss ball they can suggest somethings for you to do. It doesnt necessarily mean its infected. But I will turn into scar tissue if your dont have it looked at asap if it hasnt already.

  4. Ohh, it qot it pierced a month aqo too .

That's normal . But ue haf to do sea soaks everydae for about 10 mins .

Be qentle wif uer cartilaqe piercinq!(:

  5. it might be a blood blister or it might be a keloid well take safety pin and put a hole in it and let it come out and then after that take a paper towel and hole it there so the blood or stuff will go on it and then just leave it alone. it might be a blood blister and its normal to get one of them

  6. It'll go away with time, lots of time.  Or you could try hot compresses.  Take a wet, hot rag and press it to the spot for a minute or two several times throughout the day until it goes does/away.  Good luck!

  7. Well since it's only a month later, it's still healing so that could just be a part of your body's healing process. I'd go get it checked out with your piercer just to be sure. What are you using to clean? Sea salts work best... there's a spray called H2Ocean that I would definitely recommend, I got two cartilage piercings on the same ear at the same time, and my nose pierced, and my belly pierced and used H2Ocean on all of them and it's healed great. H2Ocean also protects against those bumps.

My sister got an industrial piercing, which in case you don't know, is a barbell that goes through your ear at the cartilage, so there's two hole and it goes straight across. Very tricky healing process. After a couple months my sister had bumps on both of the holes, but went into the pierced who gave her this liquidy oily stuff that healed it right up. And for industrials, getting a bump like this is completely normal.

It could be nothing, but get it checked out just to be sure. And make sure you're cleaning it properly with the right stuff.

  8. It would help to be a little bit more descriptive.

Is it hard or soft? Does it hurt when you touch it?

If it is soft and sensitive to the touch then it could just be an infection. I recommend soaking it with a hot towel for at least 15 minutes a day and then applying some topical antiseptic like Neosporin.

If it is a hard bump then you might want to see a doctor.

    Good luck.

  9. i dont know sorry but my brother has the same problem... i dont though and we both got ours done at the same place so i dont know im sorry. i dont think it will go away though...

  10. It's a ball of puss. It means it's infected. That's what happened to me the first time.

  11. Depends on what the bump actually is. I'm pretty sure some people get bumps around cartlidge piercings that is just basically excess skin.

If it is p***y and yuck, then the bump could be an infection. Which you should wash with salt water and maybe see if your local piercing place has something else to put on it.
