Cartilage piercingsss. (:?

Question

okay, so recently, i have been talking to my mom about getting my cartilage pierced and she has been thinking about it, i know pain is different for different people, but i would just like feedback, btw, when i do it im getting it done with a needle, not a gun.

If you searched 'cartilage' you'd get the responses you need.  

Anyway, needle hurts worse but is better for your body than a gun.  I'd say probably a 4 or 5 out of a pain scale of 10.

it's a quick pinch and it kind of throbed for me after

it may hurt to sleep on for a couple of nights

but other than that just take care of it and you will be fine =)

well i got it done with a gun at wal mart i know its bad whateva.  anyways it didnt hurt and i have a low tolerance pain and i am only 13 so ya.  anyways i would suggest a gun i know u want a needle but guns dont actually shatter ur cartilage to all u haters out there. it is a 1 on the scale  of 1-10  anyways best of luck

well when i got mine, the lady asked if i wanted her to count or just do it, so i was deciding, then i was like count, but she said its over! she did it when i was deciding, and i didnt feel it! it doesnt hurt!

Hmm me personally, it hurts like h**l- but the one time I went and got it professionally done, it didn't hurt much, just a little pinch!

The gross part is the popping noise you hear.

I usually do mine at home and they hurt like h**l, but I guess that's just because of the whole situation in general. I have professional piercing supplies and I've done 14 on my own- cartilage hurts MUCH more than lobe.

But anyway, yeah, I don't think it will hurt that much for you getting it done and stuff, they do it in one swift motion and stuff and it only lasts a second. Plus, just think, 3 seconds of pain for years of a beautiful piercing! haha

doesn't hurt much at all.

the time its hurts most is about and hour after having the piercing.

its worth it though:-)

about 4 out of 10 on the scale!

It doesnt really hurt, just for a quick second, even with a needle.

it's a very sharp and very short-lasting pain. I think the sound is worse.
