Carveboards?

are they really as close to surfing or snowboarding as people say they are? thinking about getting one any advice?

They are very similar to all three boarding sports.  Though mostly snowboarding.  But it is a very unique and fun experience. There are three versions:the Rip Stik(razor), the S-board, and the Wave.  The Wave and the S-board are the originals and the Rip Stik is a more expensive yet more cheaply made knock off.  You should definitely get either the Wave or the S-board.
