I am planning a trip to langkawi and am sthinking of staying in Casa Del Mar, Langkawi:

Can you please let me know:

1. Whether Casa Del Mar is a nice place for a family holiday

2. What are the attracations I should cover in 4 days with my fly (with kids aged 1 and 6)

Casa Del Mar is indeed a very nice and beautiful resort to stay but only as a couple and not for families. There is not much things to do for the kids in the resort except swimming in the pool & play by the beach. http://www.casadelmar-langkawi.com/home....

If i can suggest you, there are few others resorts in Langkawi, which are great for family vacation. They are:-

They have Kids Club & Swimming Pool for the kids. Endless activities for the kids to enjoy at the club. You can also leave your kids at the club to be taken care of by the staff at the club.

Fun things to do while in Langkawi-

There are actually many things to do while you are there. The best that include the whole family to do is to go for the Island Hopping Trip. You can see the whole langkawi when you are up there! Dont forget to take your kids to the Underwater World located in Pantai Chenang too.

4 days is a lot of time....i wuld say as a family...the best place is at Pantai Cenang where all the beach activities...are....and Kuah where all the shopping and watever are....

..anyhow get a car ,drive around and enjoy yr stay...
