Question:

Case for removable faceplate from car stereo?

I just got a new car stereo with a removable faceplate. However, it didn't come with a case for the faceplate, and I don't want it to get all scratched up in my purse. I don't know if I'm not using the right keywords when I try to google it, but I've found very few cases. In fact...I found only one!

Does anyone know if there are other cases out there for faceplates? Or is this pretty much my one option?

Thanks!

  1. Maybe a hard case for glasses will work.  Or you can whip something up using a plastic travel case/box for toiletries and such, some hot glue, foam and velveteen from a fabric store.

Then you could disguise your faceplate box as a case for dentures or something :)

  2. Id just head out to a car audio store. and ask them, They'll have more answers than the intrawebs.
