Meydan Classic Sponsored By The Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group Listed Race is scheduled to take at Meydan on 23rd February, 2012. 12 runners will be competing for a purse of £58,065 across a track of 1 mile.
The racing line-up consists of:

Matusalen,
Factory Time,
Cody Maverick,
Strait Of Zanzibar,
Entifaadha,
Noor Zabeel,
Energia Dust,

Fiscal.

Cash Luck has competed twice in 2012. He is a 4-year-old gelding that is trained by M. Freedman and owned by Northwest Racing Stable.
The son of Bradbury’s Luck, out of Blue Celeste, finished in 2nd place in his seasonal debut. He was beaten by Won’t Stop at Kranji in the Open Benchmark 97 Turf, which took place on 6th January, 2012.
Cash Luck’s performance in the next race was brilliant. He triumphed over Silveron Wings on 29th January, 2012, at Kranji, in the Open Benchmark 97 Turf. He lived up to the expectation of being race favourite.
Matusalen, owned by Cuadra Miranda Slu, has been on a hat-trick. The 3-year-old son of Caradak, out of Bixaare, has been in his winning form. His trainer, M. Delcher-Sanchez, is hoping that the colt his ace this seasonal debut.
Matusalen finished in first place on 31st July, 2011, in the Premio El Pais. M.M.A.M.R.M, at San Sebastian, where he defeated Flash McQueen.
He repeated this stellar performance at the same venue, in the Premio Dehesa De Milagro, on 11th September, 2011.
His most recent win took place in the Premio Gran Criterium, at La Zarzuela, on 23rd October, 2011.
This race will be Entifaadha’s seasonal debut as the 3-year-old colt, has not raced in this year.
The son of Dansili, out of Model Queen was the race favourite in his, last race, which took place on 1st October, 2011.
Trained by William Haggas, Entifaadha finished in 5th at Newmarket, in the £500,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Trophy.
Factory Time, trained by A.Al.Raihe, secured a first place finish in his last race at Meydan.
The son of Baltic King, out of Mark One, defeated Kenny Powers in the Meydan Classic Trial Sponsored By Xpress Conditions Race.
Based solely on the performance, it seems that Cash Luck will succeed in this race at Meydan. His status as race favourite in the last race will help him attract bets.
The second place is likely to be secured by Matusalen. This cannot be assured by as his performance in 2012 may not be as brilliant as it was in 2011.
The third place may be secured by Factory Time or Entifaadha.
