I live in Cornwall and I would like to know where there is a shop nearer to us. We used to have one in Truro, but they were closed a few years ago. Could you help me to find the nearest Cash Converter shop so my partner sell his ring please? Thanks Katrina

  1. there isn't much. I tried to sell a really nice clock once and all the shops in Penzance and Camborne wanted to give me was around £10.!

Probably it is best to  put it on ebay. If you've never done it before it is surprisingly easy.http://www.ebay.co.uk/

  2. As others have said don't use them if you have a choice, what they give for jewelry may cover your bus fair.

  3. there is one in taunton

  4. NO NO NO !!!!

Cash converters (and all it's relatives in the Pawn, usery and unsecured credit lending trade) are a rip off and should only ever be used as an absoloute last resort (no food in the cupboard, no money for nappies etc).

Someone you know will have an eBay account for certain, sell it there and you wont get a top price, but you will do a lot better than Cash Converters can manage.

Cash Converters and thier like are not in the game to help you out in your hour of need, they're in it to fill THIER bank account with YOUR money !

If it's a very expensive ring in good condition, try a small ad in the local paper, but it might be worth cleaning and polishing it up first. Also, look at local jewelers, many in my area buy jewelery as well as selling it, they just dont advertise it widley as it makes them look like money lenders, an image they rightfully wish to avoid.

  5. here is cash generator (same shop as cash converters) store locator http://www.cashgenerator.co.uk/store-loc...
