Well I'm trying to apply for a job in path mark and there options are either a cashier or a cart person. I'm 16 and never really had a job except for clerical stuff when i was 14 (got minimum wage)

So i want your opinions of what i should apply for and if you have any tips for me as a cashier or cart person then thanks :D

P.S. If I'm a cashier will it be hard? like will i get training or w\e? I'd appreciate some tips Ty.

  1. Cashier is much better

i have owned 2 stores and i had 2 16 year olds work for me that never had a job before.  i trained both and they picked it up quick.  My stores are now closed down and the 16 yr old is now 22 years old and she is always thanking me from showing her how to run a register and properly count money.  she now has a full time job running a register at Mcdonalds and she is so happy i trained her.

  2. If you were a cart person you might get bored easily. Being a cashier will give you more to do and make the time go by faster. Yup, you will get training no matter what you are hired for. It might be a little hard at first but every job is when you're first learning. Don't worry, you'll be used to it in no time.
