Cashing Savings Bonds?

I have a couple of savings bonds that I would like to cash but I don't have a drivers license. Would I be able to use my birth certificate as a form of i.d.?

  1. I don't see why not.  The bank would like to see some sort of photo ID.  Do you have a bank account?  If so, cash the savings bonds there.
