Casillas optimistic about Supercopa second leg

The veteran shot-stopper has voiced his opinion regarding the Spanish Supercup, claiming that his side still have a massive chance of winning.

The Blancos skipper asserted that the Spanish giants can still overturn the result of the first leg. The match took place at the Nou Camp this past Thursday and saw the Catalans humble Madrid to a 3-2 defeat.
Although the game ended in favour of the hosts, the visitors were able to clinch a late goal, which still keeps Los Merengues in the tie.
Interestingly, it was the Santiago Bernabeu outfit that took the lead in the match. After a close first-half, which ended in stalemate, the second half of the match was much more exciting.

"We went through different stages in the match. We started well, but then they came back and at 3-1 it looked very difficult. Nevertheless, everything changed with the goal from Di Maria which makes the tie closer. One of our objectives was to score at Camp
Nou and we’ve done that twice. We are more or less pleased with the result. “
"In these types of games there are always controversial moments, emotions and clashes. That's only normal. It's football and everyone is trying their best for the club."
The two Spanish giants will face each other once again in the second-leg of the Supercopa on Wednesday.
