The Real Madrid captain has pledged his future to the capital club amid reports that he might pursue his career elsewhere, since the introduction of Diego Lopez.
 Iker Casillas has certainly found it very difficult to make his place back in the starting line up of Los Blancos, since his return from injury.
The Spanish captain was ruled out of action for up-to nine weeks, later in the month of January as Real Madrid entered the business end of the season.
The injury came as a blow to Jose Mourinho, who was fed up of the mistakes by second choice goalkeeper Antonio Adan.
This rushed Madrid in to the market for a new goal-keeper and Diego Lopez was the man who signed for the Spanish champions with just days to go in the closure of the transfer window.

Jose Mourinho has certainly been reluctant to replace the inform goal-keeper and hence Casillas’ future at the Santiago Bernabeu based outfit hangs in the blemishes.

Most recently, the Real Madrid captain has stated that his future lies with the Spanish side and he is not going anywhere.
"My future is at Real Madrid. I have a contract with the club and I've been here since I was nine years old. It's been my club for my whole life and it's where I want to be," Casillas told AS.
The Real Madrid captain also talked about Jose Mourinho’s future while also stating the importance of winning the Copa del Rey.
 "You have to ask him about that," Casillas said. "I'm here to collect an individual award and what I'm interested in is giving the Madrid fans something to cheer about. 

"Given that this year it wasn't to be in the Champions League, it'll be in the competition we have left: the Copa del Rey.”

Real Madrid face city rivals Atletico Madrid in the final of the Copa and will be looking to make it their only silverware of the season.
