Recently, Sergio Ramos and Jose Mourinho were involved in a little rift in the dressing room and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Iker-Casillas-c16815 explained his stance on the situation.
Recently there were rumours that the Real Madrid centre-back, Sergio Ramos, had a rift with his Portuguese coach, Jose Mourinho.
The rumours started when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Ramos-c33096 was benched against Manchester City in the first UEFA Champions League game.
It was Real Madrid’s first game in the UEFA Champions League and since it was against the Premier League champions, many thought that it was an important fixture for Los Blancos.
However, Jose Mourinho still decided to bench his favourite centre-back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Ramos, against a team like Manchester City.
While some claimed it was to send Ramos a lesson, the others claim that it was only done to give the French youngster, Raphael Varane, an experience of the UEFA Champions League.
It was soon revealed that Ramos is not on good terms with Jose Mourinho and there were rumours that the Spaniard might consider leaving the Spanish club.
However, all such rumours were put to rest when Ramos came out in the open and claimed that he has no issues with Los Blancos and he is still loyal to them.
There is no doubt that there was a little truth in the rumours, but the news over-exaggerated a lot of things and while speaking about the fight between the coach and the player, Iker Casillas spoke about his stance in the locker room.
“Perhaps it is our fault we are more airtight within the dressing room when compared to a couple of seasons ago. What side was I on? Sergio’s for supporting a teammate who was having a bad time and the boss’s because he was looking out for the team.”
“It wasn’t a matter of being behind Sergio or the boss but supporting everybody equally.”
Sergio Ramos returned to first-team action right after missing out the game against Manchester City.
There is no doubt that the Spaniard is an exceptional player and his presence alongside http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-c29670 is heavily felt by the team as the two star defenders really help the Spanish giants at the back.
