Question:

Casino Age?

I know you have to be 18 to get into a Casino by yourself, but my mother seems to think that with her (parental accompaniment), and I being seventeen, can get in...

Is that true?

(It's in Wisconsin, if that helps)

  1. The only thing like that I have seen is in the Harrahs Casino in Cherokee/Asheville, NC they have or use to have a restraint in it. And at 16 I when with my mom in it to go eat. But you have to go strate in and eat then leave.

If I would have stopped to gamble all of us would have been baned from the place.

  2. Minors are allowed to go to any all ages facilities at the casino property (i.e. restaurants, shows, etc), and they may pass through the gaming area on their way to these places, assuming they are with an adult. You cannot however, play any games, or hang around the casino, or watch your parents play. If you don't have somewhere else to go while your parents are gambling, it's not something your going to enjoy, unless you like sitting in the hotel room watching Sportscenter all day.

  3. Nope, if you're underage and on the gaming floor of most casinos, doesn't matter if your parent is with you or not - just means there's a good chance both of you would be escorted out. There are some that are more liberal about the underage rule than others (Circus Circus in LV, for example). You might get away with it if you're just standing there, but if you actually start playing slots or something, chances are they'll take notice (especially if you don't look 20ish).
