Casinos are in business just like the local hardware store - both there to make money. People go into a casino and gamble - which is exactly that - it's a gamble - will you win and come out with more money or will you lose and come out with less? If everyone won - the casino would lose money and would not stay in business very long. So, you play your money and you take your chances.

The odds favor the casino. If someone is dumb enough to play a game where they are always behind it is their choice. It's not like the casinos say "we pay out 60% on roulette, come play!"

No, casinos are not out to cheat people. They are regulated by the regulations of the gaming commissions of the state, so they can't. The odds are just in the casino's favor. I'm a dealer and I always tell my players "We don't have to cheat you to beat you." It may sound mean, but it's true

The games all favor the casinos. The casinos are pretty honest about it, if you do your homework you can even find out just how much the games favor the casinos.

People still show up and play, even though they know they are getting the worst of it.
