  1. First things first: the liquor. If you wanted to be really accurate, there's only one drink to make. I quote my copy of 'Casino Royale' (the excellent novel, not the excellent film):

"A dry martini...In a deep champagne goblet...Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel."

That, my friend, is a Vesper. Kina Lillet is no longer made, so just use three shots of gin, one of vodka, and one-half of white vermouth. Of course, that adds up to just shy of five drinks in one glass, which is a long way of saying "terrible hangover."

James Bond's classic drink is the simple vodka martini, which is smaller and easier on the head. That's one shot of vodka, one-half shot of vermouth. Shaken, not stirred.

For the non-alcoholic crowd, change only the ingredients. One shot of Perrier with a half-shot of Sprite. Shaken, not stirred. (If you don't have a cocktail shaker, get one.) The Perrier is good to have around for people who want something simple but classy.

You'll need martini glasses, of course. Target sells a decent plastic one at $14 for a ten-pack:

As far as decoration goes, less is more. Turn the lights low and put up a few Bond movie posters.

For the casino part, try this roulette wheel:

It goes without saying that there should be some good poker or blackjack, so a fresh deck of cards and some casino-style chips will be in order.
