CasioEX-S880 will not charge.

My daughter received a Casio EX-S880 digital camera for CHristmas--a refurbished unit. I charged it, and it worked fine. She lost the A/C adaptor cords, and I just bought replacments from Casio. It will not charge--what could be wrong with it now? It has only been charged the one time on Christmas Day.
