Cast the First Stone ( Christians Only)?

Let He Who is Without Sin Cast the First Stone

I have been coming here for over 4 months and in that time I have seen a lot of Christians, and I mean Christians cast the first stone, but yet have made false accusations against other Christians, especially ones who belong to a Church, any Church, tell people that they are going to h**l, is that being a Christian?

Jesus said love one another, as I have loved you. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ, so why can't we respect what others believe in instead of making false accusations

This may sound like a rant, but to me it is not, I am hurt and upset that Christians who are brothers and sisters in Christ can do these things against one another

i hear you! im a christian too...and i hate when other christians are mean, and "cast the first stone"

I am totally with you on this one.  I have seen it to but I actually am not surprised.  I think the key to people not throwing the stones is when God shows them how they fall short themselves and sometimes it takes a long time for that to happen.  It took me 40 years.  When I realized what was at the bottom of my heart...for real...resentment, bitterness, anger, hate, etc.  that is when I dropped the stones and began the process of not judging others or telling others where they are going.  For me that truth lies within me.  And truly no one knows where I have come from or where anyone is truly going.  When most people read the Bible they take the parables and turn them into stones and that is not what Christ did, he died anyway.  It is all about love... because as hard as it is to tolerate someone that is full of hate it is even more difficult to love them anyway.

Hi Melody,

                   I agree with you I have seen this too and they ARE hypocrites, they Judge and spread false information about their follow brother and sister. But most of all they forget conveniently 'judge let ye shall be judged'. And as Jesus said 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone ...'.

The bible tells us to judge the deed, and I will, but I dont believe I have ever judged the doer if i have Im wrong

Not me.

It is not bad, in my opinion, to debate scripture and talk about how it could be interpreted. But we should not tell someone that they are "going to h**l" because we do not know who specifically will end up there. We know the type of people who ends up there but anyone can repent and be saved.

Liars are one type of people who will be there. We all have probably lied at one time or other. We just need to repent of telling those lies. Now if someone tells another that they are going to h**l and that person does not really end up in h**l; hasn't the other party told one of the most hurtful lies that could possibly be told? Where will that person end up if he/she does not repent themselves???

I really understand how you feel as being bro. & sisters as God creation but im sure not in spirit. The word brethren & spirit is a long explanation and it needs so many verses to prove it. But i will give you some verses that may help for you to understand why it happens and no one has to be blame, 1 TIMOTHY 1:13 = Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: BUT I OBTAINED MERCY, BECAUSE I DID IT IGNORANTLY IN UNBELIEF.

CAST THE FIRST STONE has a spiritual meaning but here God says:

ROMANS 13:7 = Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

And it is not the will of God to conform with the wrong:

ISAIAHS 1:18 = Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:.....

ISAIAH 41:21 = Produce your cause, saith the LORD bring forth your strong reasons, saith the king of Jacob.

EPHISIANS 6:12 for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

MATTHEW 10:27= What i tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon THE HOUSETOPS.

Now who has the right to do this ? HE who speak the words of God not the doctrine of pastors itself.

JOHN 3:34=For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

2 CORINTHIANS 2:17 = For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

WHERE CAN WE FIND THE SENT ONE A PREACHER?

HEBREWS 8:1 = Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

HEBREWS 8:2 = A minister of the sanctuary, and of the TRUE TABERNACLE< WHICH THE LORD PITCHED, AND NOT MAN.

And i am a member of this and we have only one preacher not many.
