Castration cure: for or against??? (10 points)

Do you think that castration is the answer to either eliminate or reduce the amount of rape cases committed by SERIAL rapist in our society. Why or why not?

Please give a detailed intelligent answer (10 points).

you forfeit your right to own a p***s when you have raped someone. Serial rape even more so. I care about possible future victims, not some psychopaths crank.

I am not aware of any evidence that proves the efficacy of castration (chemical or otherwise). I am an investigator in Child Protection and I can tell you that after speaking with many s*x offenders against children, they are psychologically wired this way, not hormonally.

Rape, molestation, indecent dealing whatever you want to call it, the basis of this offending is an intrinsic inadecquacy in the offender tey are seeking to excercise power over a weaker party to boost themselves. The are so psychologically warped as to se themselves as a third sexual orientation option (g*y/straight/ pedo).

I am inclined to agree that should you remove their sexual outlet, the offender is going to increase in rage and almost certainly seek means to release this frustration in further offences, by penile means or worse still others.

For repeat or serial offences then life imprisonment is the only option. Rehabilitation simply is not possible as this perversion is a function of who they are and not some underlying illness.

It's interesting but I used to be against eugenics (sterilisation as a means of control). It was used by the n**i government and has therefore had very bad press.

One arguement I have heard is that only a very very small minority of people commit most of the crime, and often the children of those idiots go the same way. So the thought was, if they are sterlised it might reduce crime. Not sure if it would work....

However, where crimes of a sexual nature against people are committed then then I would go for  a chemical that will completely destroy any sort of sexual function in the scumbag concerned. I would like to say "chop the lot off" but that won't ever happen, but chemical castration might.

Another however, is that this shouldn't be needed anyway as stuff like that should, along with murder and some other crimes be a whole life sentence with no parole.

I know woman whom have gotten mad at men and claimed rape in the past if she says rape at a guy with whom she is mad at out of anger.

The bible does state if a man be bad cut off his seed yes.

Meaning his future generations or his Genitalia itself.

From my understanding it's not the penetration but the act itself which they crave.

The thought behind castration is that the offender will lose his s*x drive, but it doesn't always work out that way.  In ancient times eunuchs were castrated in order to watch over the harems of powerful rulers, yet these men were still able to have s*x, albeit without the squirt factor.

Its a very bad idea.. rape is not about s*x its about control. If you castrate the person they will feel helpless... and will want to rape more... If you cant use your p***s you will find other things to use... like baseball bats and wrenches... and because they cant use their p***s they will end up raping more because theres no DNA on a bat like there is with a p***s.

Ask yourself what you would "rather" be raped with.. a p***s or a baseball bat?

For a SERIAL rapist, the only appropriate punishment is death.
