Casual Flight Attendant Duties, and Part Time University? What are the chances of success in University?

Hi, I have always been fascinated by the glamour of the Aviation Industry! And shows all about Hosties, make me really want to become one.

I was talking to some friends the other day, and they say lots of people do casual work on airlines, and university at the same time. Generaly by distance education.

Is there anyone else out there that is doing a similar thing? Or Advice? Would it be worth my while?!

I don't know about the UK, but in the States it can never work.

As a new flight attendant, you're at the bottom of the seniority list, therefore you are on call for your assignments.  No regular shift.  Kind of makes keeping a university schedule impossible.

Especially since you might be gone for three or four days, layovers, delays, etc.

Perhaps an online college?
