Casual wedding... Help?

Question

I need ideas for a fall casual wedding. It be in early October when it is still nice outside so that we can have it outdoors. Any suggestions or ideas for all aspects of our wedding?

Fall weddings invoke all kinds of gorgeous colors. Use some rich jewel tones such as emerald greens, royal amethyst purple, sapphire blues, or for that matter you can combine any of them. Use golds and oranges as accent colors.

Have flowergirls toss leaves rather than petals

Serve apple cider; apple-tinis; have an old fashioned apple cake for your wedding cake.

Caramel apples as favors, wrapped in cellophane and tied with ribbon.

Have hay bales scattered to make conversation areas

As the evening goes on and it gets darker, have some small but protected bonfires.  Have lots of candles on the tables. Make luminarias from paper bags and sand or cat litter with a candle in it to line walkways http://www.newmexicophotos.com/blog/phot...

By a lake or a pond, always beautiful in the fall. As for decorations because of the changing of leaves and the time of year keep it simple. You don't need anything to elaborate mother nature will be your main decoration. Another idea is instead of everyone sitting down at the wedding have everyone stand up but if you do this make sure the ceremony is quick.

state parks have mansion houses for weddings...

or country clubs... make sure if you are doing it outdoors, you have a plan b (indoor back up plan) just in case weather is bad (knock in wood)
