  1. You live in your mother's house.  It's your responsibility to protect your own birds.  Throwing the cat outdoors is not the answer.  That is your mother's cat and it's in HER house, where it belongs.  You have no right to risk the life of her cat because you decided to move back and bring your birds.

Your birds should be separate from the cats.  If you cannot protect them with the cats in the house, maybe you should consider a new home for your birds, or yourself.

  2. I would suggest you put the birds where the cats cannot reach them.  Something like that can really stress out the bird and cause health issues.

  3. Sit in your room with a water bottle. When mom's cat comes in spray it. When you are not around.... KEEP THE DOOR CLOSED. I have 2 parrots and a cat. The cat knows not to bother the birds. However when I leave the cat goes to my bedroom with door shut.

  4. Why don't you start keeping the birds in your room w/ the door shut? This would keep the birds calm, and the troublesome cat away.

  5. how can your mom mom's cat go in your room?

also you can cover you birds cage everytime you go out of your bedroom or you can distract your mom moms cat everytime it gets near your parakeets cage.

  6. Keep your bedroom door closed. Don't throw her outside, just out of your room where the birds are. Try to hang the cage in the center of the room where the cat cannot get to it.
