What injections does my 1 year old cat need?

I can't remember exactly what she had when she was a kitten, but I know she had cat 'flu and leukaemia done... she might have had more. She had whatever the vet recommended

Don't know if it makes a difference, but I'm from England... so no rabies jab needed (if cats have that done elsewhere- I don't know)

  1. no rabies in England? wow...

your cat needs FeLV (Feline Leukemia)

    & FVRCP

    which protects against..

    Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis,

    Calicivirus, and

    Panleukopenia

  2. Find out what you did not get and may need. Do not get boosters

There is no proof that boosters extend the life of the vaccine and may actually shorten the duration. They can also kill or cause major helth problems. I recommend the first set of vaccines for kittens and that is it.

    I find these stats unreal

    and another

  3. as above but make sure you do get the leukaemia jab if she gets in fights as that's how it's passed on-should cost around £40 for them all
