  1. Round about £10 a month, depending on where in the country you live.

The important thing is that you keep flea treatment up to date, Use Frontline EVERY month, this will help to keep his problem at bay.

You will find that winter will be better as the colder weather keeps alot of fleas away but summer will be a nightmare for him

Good luck and well done for taking a cat from CP xx

  2. $30

  3. Is the injection you are talking about a steroid injection rather than flea treatment?  If so, it would probably be in the region of £15-£20 depending on whether or not a veterinary consultation was included in the cost.

Well done for rehoming a cat - I'm sure it will be very happy with you.

  4. I'm curious here because my cat had the same issue and was covered in scabs. Finally I got Capstar tablets and she got the Program injection and that cleared it up 100% but the Program injection is only every 6 months.

I only mention this because maybe the Cat Protection Trust aren't aware there's a cheaper option available to them? It's certainly worth mentioning to them - both Program and Capstar are made by Novartis.

Good for you taking this kitty in!
