  1. I have one cat and she probably only cost me about $10-15 a month. Thats not including shots or vet visits though.

  2. When my cat was younger it ran about $60 a month, this included putting money aside for the inevitable vet bills like yearly physicals and shots. Now that she is 13 years old, she has developed some medical problems that require a vet visit about every 4 month approximately $300, plus she needs special food about $50 a month. So my guesstament would be about $100 a month over the life of the cat. Someday she will have to be put to sleep and cremated. Another $350. I'm not being cold, just practical. Over the years, I've learned to plan for emergencies. So when things are going good, I don't overspend on other stuff. I continue to put money away, so when emergencies come up, I'm prepared.

There are better vet insurance programs now than in the pass, where you make monthly payments and they usually cover physicals, shots and some of emergency costs like illness or being injured by a car.

  3. I have 13 rescued cats, all altered, all indoors, all spoiled. I am not willing to admit to how much I spend on them *LOL* but I will say that I sell stuff on ebay to help defray the cost. and no, I did not purposefully go out and look for them, they were dumped here or came here as abused strays.

  4. 20 -30 dollas a month but we buy cans and bbles..to save money just buy kibbles ishelhier anyways but cats like variety so whenever you have lefover chicken scraps or something just feed it that

  5. about $300 a year

  6. I have two, and assuming both stay healthy throughout the year, I'm spending about $500 per year including annual shots, registration, etc.  I spend about $30 a month on food, kitty litter, etc.  However, I suggest you keep a little extra set aside for if your kitty gets sick and you need to take it to the vet.

  7. Probably about 30 - 40 dollars a month on toys and food (If we don't have to bring them to the vet).
