Cat Litter Change??? Have you tried these and which would you recommend for a home with 12 cats....???

11 of them use a litter box.....I am currently using Arm & Hammer Multi cat Scoopable. I love it but the dust is really messing with us when we are scooping and changing out the litter boxes. We have been looking at a few other options but I really need one with ODOR CONTROL! Noone can smell my cats and I want to keep it that way. The ones I have been looking at are: Swheat, Feline Pine, Exquisite Scoop and Dr. Elsey's scoopable. If you have used one or more of these and recommend one over the other, please do so. Or if you know one that is best, please let me know. I am, however, looking for one that I can get in a 20-30 lb. bag (box) and not trying to spend more than $15 at a time. I have to replenish cat litter and cat food often so I want something good, but not too costly. My 4 children get the best of my dollars! Thanks for your help. I use tidy cat it has micro beads to trap the odor and instantly clumps also is meant for multiple cats. may i recommend you get at least 3 more litter boxes it may help with the smell as well. anyways good luck!!!!

We are a "mulit-multi" cat family and even wih our son grown and gone I assure you, when you consume 4 to 5 boxes of cat litter per week you look for the best for your money.

I think at one time or another we have tried them all.  And each and every time I come back to "Tidy Cats" Scoopabe Litter for Multi-Cats.  In the blue box now (27lbs) NOT the red tub.  Not only has the 35 lb tub become just a lot to lift and load but I have noticed that it seems to be more dusty and dark than the litter in the blue tub.

Tidy Cats in the blue box costs us $9.73 plus tax at Wal-Mart.

I love some of the other scented litters but have noticed that after a while the scent tends to make me sneeze.  In particular Tidy-Cats "Small Spaces" brand.

We love Dr. Elsey's and find the price reasonable and the results outstanding.  Little tracking and very little dust and best of all the cats love it.  I buy it in 40lb bags at PetSmart.
