  1. i dont even think that is a real thing.  If it is than i have learned something to day.

    :]

  2. i have once but it went away:-)

  3. No... but sometimes the scratch is really red and stays awhile... I use neosporum on it to decrease the infection. But I never got that. I have had cats all my life and I do play rough sometimes and get scratches!

  4. Cat scratch fever is nothing more than an infected cat scratch,  although you can get tetnis from cat claws if your scratch bled.

  5. I did once.  I had extreme swelling at the location.  If you think you have it, call your doctor.  You'll get antibiotics and an updated tetanus shot. The swelling goes away in a couple days but you have to stay on the antibiotic til it's gone.  good luck!

  6. A mild, febrile condition...lymph nodes of the body may become swollen...feel very weak.  Wash affected area thoroughly with hot water and a suitable antiseptic.

  7. Yes i have? it really hurts

  8. i have rescued cats, wild and family pets, never once did I get cat scratch fever from any of them (over 15 years of doing this).  You can get a certain something, can't rememeber the name, from being around a cat box while pregnant.  Other than that - don't freak out!

  9. I haven't but have a good friend that did.  The scratch got really red and in two days she had red streaks running up her arm.  She ended up in the hospital for four days trying to keep from losing her arm to blood poison.  It is just an infection, but if you don't think you can treat it properly at home, you should see your doctor and get some antibiotics.  Clean it well, put peroxide on it, then alcohol and then neosporen.  Good luck.
