Question:

Cat Sickness? (puking and weight lost)?

Ok, I'm not sure if my cat is sick, but lately she's been throwing up her food, so we looked up in the internet and we found an answer that said, "Switch your cat's diet for it's sensitive stomach." So, we switched it to a kitten's Whiskas food. Ever since then she stopped throwing up, but she's been losing a lot of weight since. And I am sick just to let you know and if that's the problem then tell me. Thank you.

  1. Whiskas is a terrible quality food.. you are paying for lots of things your cat cannot even digest - see this easy to read link to see what I am talking about

    http://www.gomestic.com/Pets/What-is-in-...

it tells you what ingredients are nasty!

has your cat been to the vet to be checked for worms or leukemia?

    if not do that too...

  2. If I were you i'd take the cat to see a vet. If she's eating but not putting on weight there can be something wrong. But if you're cat is adult and you're feeding it on kitten's food it may just be because she needs more as it is made for kittens.

My cat lost a lot of weight at one point and couldn't eat much, we took him to the vets and he had a tumor in his throat :(

  3. May want to have a vet check her out for feline leukemia or other problem.

It's important you do that.  It could be as simple as changing food or it could be some digestive problem.
