This is kinda a weird question.Anyway this morning I woke up and my cat had smeared p**p on the floor (luckily the linoleum and not the carpet). This is the first time he has ever done something like this(we have had him since the beginning of July). We give him milk twice a day but now Im cutting it back to once but my mom keeps giving him extra milk.Could this have been his problem? Also how do I prevent this from happening again? Thanks

  1. I think he might have worms. This is common for animals to do when they have worms. You should cut out the milk because most cats are lactose intolerant and the milk can upset their digestive systems.

  2. These are really helpful videos on that kind of stuff:

I think the second video might help you more...

  3. have u given him/her something for worms at all? might have an itchy bum =l this is what dogs do but im not sure if its the same for cats.

now im sounds abit crazy haha, im sorry! =) x

  4. It could be worms, as others have suggested, but that's less likely if he's an indoor cat. Have you changed litters recently? Sometimes cats will do that if they have little bits of clumping clay litter stuck to their butts. But I'd definitely try not giving him milk for a while. It can cause digestive problems, especially if you're giving it to him every day! There's lots of info about this online: just google "is milk bad for cats".

  5. He most likely was rubbing his bum on the floor because it itched.  Dogs will do the same thing if they are itchy.  I dont thinks it the milk.

    Good luck
