  1. Use a cream eyeliner (Try Shiseido cream eyeliner) and just line it with a brush at the roots of your lashes. Then just elongate it a bit up like the cat's eye. Then to help it even more, a smoky eye with dark eyeshadow will make you look great.

  2. My best tip is to use a pot eyeliner with a good eyeliner brush rather than a drugstore liquid liner, but if you're not into that kind of an investment then at least make sure you're using a liquid liner and not a crayon or pencil version.

I like to line my eyes completely and let them dry before adding the wing on the outside. Just a personal preference. When drawing the wing on the outside, I put my finger about as far outside of my eye as I want the wing to go. (for instance, you'll place your finger closer to the outside corner of your eye if you want a short wing, and farther if you want a long wing. ) You do this so that you know that you want to keep your wing within the line of your finger. Now, press firmly on the spot where you've placed your finger and pull the skin taught. This will ensure you get a good thin line and will prevent the liner pen from getting caught on the folds in your skin. Contrary to what you may have been attempting, do NOT flick the brush up at an angle. This will look like you have a little u shape coming out of your eye. Since you have stretched the skin, you should be able to simply continue the line you've already drawn across your eyelid, nice and straight. You'll want to relieve the pressure of the pen at the end so that you get a nice tapered finish. When you've finished drawing your line, you can let go of  the skin you've been holding and watch the line shrink considerably as the skin falls back into place. It will also have a nice curve to it because what was once flat has now sprung back into it's original curved position. Repeat on the other side and you're done ;)

This technique takes a bit of practice like anything else, but results in a flawless cat eye for me every time.

  3. Try using a liquid liner or a cream/gel liner as opposed to a pencil; you'll end up with a sharper line. First line your upper lid as you would normally and just follow the natural shape of your eyelid (while your eye is close of course) out to as far as you'd like. Keep a wet q-tip at hand because that'll definitely come in handy.

  4. i use a cheap liquid one and get it right, i just look at my lash at the end on that sid and kinda trace it, not too hard, just line your eye like normal and dontstop at the end, but dont stop bluntly, kinda swoop the applicator, it's really hard to explain but once you get to the end turn ur wrist real quick to swoop it
