Cat feeding problems... ... ...?

I have 2 cats. One is an adult and one is a senior. My dad always buys them adult food. My senior cat needs senior food. She is 14 or 15 years old. It is the DAD'S brand. He buys based on price. My mom tells him to get whatever is cheapest or on sale. So he buys the DAD'S brand. How do I make him stop buying it? And switch to something better?

  1. maybe show the difference of the cat when it eats proper food!! lol and try to find a store with good prices on quality food

  2. How about explaining it all to him and elicit his understanding of the situation. Then figure out how you will keep them separated at feeding times so one cat does not eat the others food.

If I were you I would not worry unduly about the senior food. As long as the senior cat is healthy and going potty fine.
