Ca't find a driver to make my printer work

I have a xerox DocuPrint laser printer the driver files from xerox are corrupt and won't self extract???I've tried to download XP driver and 98' driver, both files have the same problem and I have a deadline of course. Sometimes I think Murphy is my second name.
