  1. Sounds like cat flu. Get them both to the vet!

  2. could be an infection - which is contagious.

  3. It could be cat flu - are her shots up to date?

The medication should help, but she'll take a lot of nursing. Wash her face very gently, cats are very clean animals, and bathe her eyes - only use warm water not soap. Keep her bum clean too, she might be too ill to go to her box, and certainly shouldn't be put outside.

She'll have lost her sense of smell, which will leave her unwilling to eat, so get her some very strong-smelling food like kippers to tempt her appetite.

And keep her well away from other cats when you go to the vet's.

  4. With brown or yellow discharge the cat probably has a bacterial infection and needs antibiotics.  If it's hard for you to give your cat medicine, either pill or liquid, there is a new antibiotic injection called Convenia that the vet can give the cat and you'll be all set.  The antibiotic level will stay in the cat for 14 days and you won't have to give any further meds.  Good luck.

  5. mmm they cood have just a flue but it cood be the cat flue

take them to the vets if it is cat flue the vet will say the best we can do is put them down , but wen this happened to our cats we sed no we luv them too much , and then we got them back to full strenght and they live happy lives naw.

  6. take them to the vets. i think it is because ive had experience

  7. Good idea to take both animals to the vet.  It may be a simple cold, or they could be allergic to something.  Have them both checked.
