Question:

Cat hair, washing black cotton, help, plez!?

I buy the animal cat hair brushes. I have ADD which causes me to be overwhelmed at times, like now. I actually did some washing finally and I am letting the cotton clothes dry on their own to avoid shrinkage. Problem comes with a pile of wrinkly cotton with more cat hair then ever. Any tricks.

  1. Probably when the clothes are dry they will be alright.

If you hang your clothes outside that should blow the cat hair off the clothes too.

I used to do my entire wash with no drier and I had two cats.    I bought things at target that you hung your clothes on so clothes and sheets would air dry.

I don't remember noticing cat hair on my clothes.

Always hang your clothes up when coming home.  Change your clothes when coming home.

I also bought clothes that cat hair didn't show up on.

But to really get rid of cat hair put clothes in the drier.   The drier will get rid of the cat hair on the clothes so you can't see the cat hair.

You can dry the clothes on cool in the drier to avoid shrinkage.
