Think my cat has a dose of cystitis, spoke to the vet last night as I notice blood in the litter - the vet didn't seem too worried as he wasn't showing signs of distress, my boyfriend missed all this as he was working and has come in this morning and fed him about 1/2 hr ago - will I still be ok to take him to the vets with a full stomach?

Thanks

  1. If its only going for an examination then put his appointment back till the evening as the vet wont be able to feel the bladder. If its an operation then you must postpone till next day,

  2. Yes, but make sure to tell the doctor the cat has eaten. If they need to sedate him they may need to make him throw up first.

  3. Yup, your cat won't need an operation/general anaesthetic for an infection...He'll be put on tablets for a while. No probs...

  4. take him/her it need the vet
