i am a very caring women and about 8 months ago i found this little kitten in my garden it was painfully thin and had been beat it was so scared it would even let me touch it now shes a very healthy lady and has come round to be a house pet i look after cats now im getting older i was wondering is there anyway i could get money from chairty i am on my pension and cant afford cat food please help thank you.

  1. Call a rescue group in your area, they sometimes assist with situations like this.  They may also be able to help with spaying her.


  2. I honestly don't think that there is any way that you can get money to look after strays/runaway/lost cats in general. The local pound gets money from the county or state to look after animals but that's more of a business aspect since you know what happens when no one comes to claim an animal after a certain amount of time. Your best bet would be to basically ask for donations from people. How you go about doing that is up to you, but it seems as if its your best choice for right now.

  4. Go to the humaine society and tell them the story, and they should give you some starter foods and they might even give her some free shots. But no offense, but if you can't afford to feed the cat, then you should give it to a loving home that can afford to feed it.
