My Mom's neutered cat has this obsession with pulling clothes, socks, towels and blankets around. He meows real loud while he's doing it and then he falls over and humps them. It's very strange and I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar

  1. Mom waited too long to neuter Mr. Hormones.  (And this is one of the best arguments for s*x being largely mental for males, too - it makes a huge difference if you neuter a cat before puberty.)  My first male cat was neutered at 6 months, the earliest they did it at that time, and you never would have noticed by his behavior.  He was a scrapper, and fighting is usually done in competition for females.  They now neuter as soon as a cat is weaned, and 10 weeks is fine.

He isn't psycho, but he isn't likely to change.
