Cat is limp and not moving has sore eye and will not open eyes. has not moved for two hoursanyone know why?

he wont move he has been laying in the same spot for 2 hours i know i got to take him to the vet but the vet is closed :[

has pus around eyes and has what looks like foam at the mouth anyone know why?

He had a seizure, that is what it sounds like. the foam around the mouth tipped me off right away. the pus could be the start of an infection, so take him to an emergency vet, ASAP. hope he pulls through.

if you really love your pet, i'd call any vet place, even an emergency after hours place because it doesn't sound too good, and i can just imagine what pain your cat is in. why on earth would you spend time writing in a question to yahoo when you SHOULD be using yahoo to search for a vet? jeez....good luck with your cat, i hope it gets better, then runs away and finds a new owner, one who WON'T just let it literally lay down and die.

foaming round the mouth in any animal is not a good sign,your cat could have been poisoned or ate a poisonous plant,it no good sitting here asking a question when the signs are already there of a sick cat..get him to the vets now there is out of hours vets.if you was foaming at the mouth would you wait till tomorrow to go to the hospital or see your dr,the cat cant tell you whats wrong but you see him today in the state he is in means your cat is not well..for goodness sake go to the vets or find a responsible person who will take care of him.

Look for a 24-hour emergency clinic in the phone book or Google and take him there!

@Jill: No need to get that harsh!  This person looks to be panicking and not thinking of everything right away (for example, the idea to find an emergency vet, which is why I said that), not a lazy person who doesn't care about their pet.

Take him to the friggin vet immediatly!!! The animal emergency hospital, he is going to die tonight or tomorrow if you dont!!!!  There is a lot of very bad things it could be. please please take him to the vet. if anything end his suffering by putting him down if he has FIV.
