Cat keeps randomly meowing!?

Question

My cat hardly ever meows but she has been meowing all day for no apparent reason. I have fed her and let her outside but she keeps meowing, its getting annoying now. This morning i gave her a flea tablet.. she has never had them before could that be the cause? Has anyone else had a similar problem?

it sounds like she could be in heat, unless shes fixed, then it could be the weather it has lots of effect on animals it may sound strange but it does

if not spayed she could be in heat.

If she is a single pet, she could be needing some attention.

If she doesn't have fresh water, that could be her reason to shout at you.

And maybe, just maybe, she wants a treat.

Or she just discovered those vocal chords and is LOVIN what she is hearing.

Keep an eye on her though, the flea tablet may have upset her stomach, make sure your cat eats before giving her medicine, just like with humans, its a bad idea to take medicine on an empty stomach.

My cats really talkative at times. and he runs around and opens and closes cupboards in the house, he used to NEVER do any of this. He used to just be quiet and walk around all slowly, which is normal for persians. but now he is like a crack baby and just flies around the house knocking things over and playing with imagineable things. So yeah, i've experienced this, but its not really a problem to me. Its cute and makes me feel good that he is healthy and lively. Its all in how you want to look at it.

Is she moving OK?  Maybe she fell or something and is hurting.  It sounds like she's bothered or in pain.  If it keeps up, maybe a trip to the vet, just to be sure.  (She's fixed, right?  If not she might be in heat).

Is your cat fixed?  Because my cats used to do that all the time, before they were fixed, it was just part of their nature.  Just a guess, I'm not an expert, it could be anything, you know your cat the best!

If your cat isn't fixed she could be in heat, which is VERY annoying and lasts a long time!!
