Cat keeps urinating on my front door!!!?

Question

There is a male cat in my area that keeps pissin on my front door. everytime the smell starts to go away it comes back and does it again.

can someone please tel me how to get rid of the smell or even the cat???

The cat is marking his territory, which would be why he comes back when the smell is starting to go away.

I would try washing it with vinegar and then placing something in front of the door area to prevent the animal from coming up to the area. A plant, a chair etc.

Having a dog around might not hurt either to chase the cat away. Just an idea.

Well if you have a female cat inside your house, then there is your answer! But other than that, he is marking your house as HIS, probably trying to own the whole block, you're probably not the only house he sprays on, but he wants other male cats around to know HE IS in charge. Scrub the area with hot hot water, and possibly something that will not attract a cat, there are some smells that cats do not like, one of my cats hates the smell of tooth paste, so something with a strong kind of smell you can feel in your eyes too lol..
