Cat l*****g stitches

My cat won't wear a head cone. Is there another way to make her stop l*****g her stitches?

i'm having that issue now too. mine wont wear the cone, and by not wear the cone i mean we strap it on, she flips out, and ends up jumping, rolling, and sprinting around to get it off, despite the obvious pain from the stitches. I tried an ace bandage and she tore that off as well. as for the pad- doesn't the site need to breathe in order to heal?
