Cat lovers...whats the strangest thing your cat has ever eaten?

ive 5 cats...one likes cheese,another likes mashed potato and tomato,and another eats curried mushrooms and onion...

on e separate note another eat my sons gecko lizard,but that's another story

i'm pretty sure my cats are health freaks because they love lettuce and celery weird huh? Oh and one of them lovesss yogurt..but it makes her vomit so i don't recomend it haha

Spaghetti , just a spoon full and she loves bread with butter on it...and No! she has never had a problem with it...she is going on 7 years old and in good health...I love my cat, her name is Ms.Kitty

My cats eat ANYTHING this includes wild food, such as birds and mice- in full,

Peas, carrots, potato, cheese, ice cream, chocolate, fruits, jelly, they love vegetarian bacon & sausages, cake, pizza, tomato sauce, pasta rice. crisps, biscuits...egg shell....the list i endless.....my cats would NEVER starve if homeless lol.

My cat is obsessed with butter. She actually learned how to get up on the counter tops, open the cabinet, and eat the butter. The little devil. xD

buchu..this is a herbal tea,ok.He found it under the sinck in the kitchen, he aet it and kind of gave him some kind of drug effect...he started rolling on his body,he was quite lovelyand his miau sounded like if he was in love...crazy kitty.xo.

My cat Sulley ate my baby pet turtle!

My cat Carmen eats onions...strange and she likes pasta sauce like marinara...she is always lurking around when I'm cooking it...waiting for a taste!

My cats eat most things but will beg for cheese and pasta, they may actually claw you for cheesy pasta...

The weirdest thing I've ever seen was my cat Salem eating SELLOTAPE... yep, turned round after loosing the plot trying to wrap a present and there she was chewing away like mad! managed to get to her before she swallowed it, that was gross, wet, soggy sellotape...

My current cat's diet is totally different from our last cat's.  The cat we have now will even eat the insulation from behind the moisture barrier in the basement walls.  A varying diet is normal from what I can tell.

Our male cat used to love playing with those foam toe separators women use when painting their toe nails.  I thought it was harmless fun, until he was sick one day and I realised he'd eaten one whole.  I've no idea how he managed to swallow such a weird shaped item, but they're now kept securely out of his reach.  To think I used to worry that it wasn't good to let him eat small bits of pizza (lol).

My cat loves to chew on things weird and crazy but the most crazy was the carpet staples.

She chewed on the carpet so much she pulled out a staple and tried to eat it.  It got stuck in her mouth and we had to  pull it out...

Also, she ate half of a cheeseburger with my husband...

Hi, My cat Bobbie loves potato peelings, or whole uncooked potatoes, i cannot leave potatoes out because he opens the bag and bites into them, i think it's because his previous owners left his mum and her kittens out while they went on holiday, and the only thing they could find to eat was potato peelings out of the bin.

Oh dear - poor lizard :-(

We've been kept by cats for over 30 years now - we had one chap that LOVED the cob (after the corn had been eaten off it!).  Another wouldn't leave us alone until he had had HIS slice of pizza (he preferred it with mushrooms & anchovies).  We had 2 cats that loved tomato sauce (although they also liked Pilchards in tomato sauce so maybe that was just a cross over liking!)

Of our current cats, if you leave anything on your plate for them one will go straight for the veg (she prefers peas & courgettes but is also partial to sweetcorn).  The other goes for the mash & onions.

Oh - and of there is any meat left they will get around to that eventually!

Almost anything that drops on the floor is fair game to my cats.  Rubber Bands worry me as they could choke the poor beast.  I've seen plastic wrap eaten.  They've caught 4 mice, but I never let them get as far as the eating of them, I've thrown each one out of my house at the time.  Tuna is their favorite food from a can (not the cat food tuna, Chicken of the Sea), but they also eat lunch meat, chicken, ham, and roast beef.

Yes, I know, I spoil them sometimes.

my kitten ate through a bag that was on the counter and we never found the other half of the bag and she ate most of the loaf of bread.

my other cat ate icecream. i left my bowl on the table to go to the bathroom and came back it was all over his face omg so cute i even have pics.

my dog is really small and he ate a bowl of chili and had it EVERYWHERE i couldnt beleive it.

I have 8 cats, they all love salt and vinegar chipsticks, chocolate, lemon and lime ice lollies, in fact they'd eat anything we eat!!!  Oh yeah and the occasional mouse, small bird etc!!

i had a cat who loved ice cream, but only vanilla ice cream, and only if it was on a spoon lol. he would wait until you got some on the spoon and then pull your hand over to his mouth.

that same cat also killed and devoured parts of a duck once though....
